MaintenanceHoles (water intake openings) are arranged at regular intervals between the drainage-pipe grooves, allowing rainwater and groundwater to flow into the holes for convenient maintenance and management.

시공 유의사항

Excavation
  • When excavating ordinary or well-compacted ground, it is preferable to minimize the trench width within a range that does not interfere with piping work.
  • When excavating a drain below a cut slope, excavate with an appropriate distance from the end of the slope.
Burial
  • After burial, it is preferable to fill with sandy soil to secure drainage capacity and prevent pipe damage.
  • When the ground is soft, install and shape it to a suitable thickness and treat the buried pipe to prevent differential settlement.
  • Because soil may enter before burial, the pipe exterior should be wrapped with suitable polymer fiber or GLASS FIBER.
  • Ordinary ground can be used without foundation work, but it is preferable to provide a minimal foundation using suitable filter materials such as gravel, crushed stone and cobbles.
Gradient
  • To increase drainage capacity and prevent soil sedimentation, a steeper gradient is preferable; generally, 1/300-1/800 is appropriate.
Connection
  • Perforated pipes are connected easily using a socket.
